This action-packed sport involves slipping, sliding and jumping through canyons such as the Auerklamm, Nederbach and Rosengartenschlucht with emerald natural pools and thundering waterfalls. Don't miss out on the chance to try out this thrilling outdoor sport.
The excellent thermals and fine views in the Ötztal make paragliding an absolute must for visitors with a head for heights and a strong stomach. Several paragliding centres in the valley offer tandem flights accompanied by a qualified expert. There really is no better way to see the region from a totally new perspective! Most flight takes off next to the Gratlift near the Gaislachkoglbahn cable car, which is just a short walk from the Hotel Bergland.
Ripping waters for gifted kayakers and canoeists:There are wildwater adventures aplenty on the Rofener Ache, Venter Ache and Ötztaler Ache rivers in the Ötztal. However, the undoubed highlight for wildwater enthusiasts is the 350m professional canoe course in Ötz. We also recommend taking part in one of the many rafting adventures offered by experienced guides in summer.

Approx. an hour drive from Sölden, you will reach an absolute “Jewel in the Corwn” of all alpine golf courses. All the 18 fairways blend into the environment so well that the difference in altitude affords little problem for the players. In Addition to that you have an amazing mountain view of the Karwendel and Wetterstein.
The 9-hole golf course Lermoos is an ideal point for a short stopover if you are arriving from Germany. You will afterwards reach Sölden in approx. 80 mins.
About 1 hour drive the Golf club Innsbruck-Igls presents itself with a 9-hole and 18-hole course in a unique and sunny location. And to be honest, Innsbruck is always worth a visit.
You can't get more passionate than this: spring offers the unique opportunity to combine skiing and golf in one day: In the morning you wedel enjoyable on the slopes at the spring skiing, in the afternoon you enjoy the golf experience in Mieming.
